Currently supporting a clinical-stage biotechnology, that recently layed out plans to begin trials in its lead cell therapy candidates and bring on new executives.

With an individual recently being unable to begin with the Company, we are seeking to fulfill the role on an interim basis due to key events needing this professional on hand.

Based on performance, the team would definitely prefer to convert this Consultant, however are very open to 100% interim solution.

Key skillset - previous work within Employee Relations (this will be approximately 70% of the workload).

Duties :

• Develop and update HR policies and procedures or related documents.
• Implementation / management of HRIS (ADP) platform.
• Design, plan, and implement company’s employee relations programs, policies, and procedures.
• Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and / or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Develop and update job descriptions.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Responsible for overseeing full cycle recruiting; management of Hiring Managers and candidate partnership, interview coordination (phone, onsite, video conferencing), and recruiting flow follow ups.
• Assist as necessary with New Hire Orientation / Onboarding.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Background :

• Bachelors degree required, Masters is a plus
• Min. 5yrs experience, Biotech / Pharma highly preferred but open to industry
• Experience with big and small pharma (preferably on the mixed, not just one or the other). Variety of different experiences to have a flexible mindset.
• Systems DocuSign, HRIS (ADP), MS Outlook Teams, Guardian HR (HR VP service) would be ideal. Navigations would be tough.
• Performance evaluation must be able to do this
